Where should we take our pictures?
Anywhere you want! I am happy to recommend some of my favorite locations but I am always happy to try new places as well. Please keep in mind that some locations require permits and fees. For locations outside of 1.5 hours from Simsbury, CT, a small travel fee will be added.
Help! What should we wear?
Ah, the stress of what to wear. Whether you are planning outfits for 2 people or 10 people, I am happy to provide wardrobe guidance. Neutral colors will always photograph best and not distract from the beauty of the image. For children, nothing too tight or itchy; we like to have a little fun! I am always happy to help plan outfits.
For maternity and motherhood sessions, ask me about my client closet!
How long will it take for our gallery to be delivered?
No more than 3 weeks. Depending on the time of year and number of sessions I have currently booked, it will often times be sooner than that. I’m just as eager to see the magic we created together so stay tuned on Instagram and Facebook for sneak peeks of your sessions!
How do we get our photos?
Your finished gallery will be emailed along with your unique gallery password and download pin. Once the gallery is delivered, you are able to share your gallery and password with family and friends. Individual images as well as the entire gallery can be downloaded as high resolution images to your computer where you are free to share and print with whatever service you love to use.
My kids are wild…should I stress?
Absolutely not. I have 5 kids, I have seen it all. There’s no judgement over here! I consider myself a master of distraction and I will come prepared with all the tricks and jokes I have up my mommy sleeve. We’re going to have fun and take some beautiful pictures together!
What if it rains?
In New England, sometimes we have to go by the hour and that’s okay! If it’s too rainy/snowy/windy, we will reschedule. However, if it’s just a little bit of any of those, it’s going to add some extra character to our shoot! I am flexible and happy to work with you.
How do we book you?
On the top right of the homepage, there is a contact page with a short contact form or you can email me at hello@asiamuthphotography.com. Please include the type of session you are interested in, a few dates and any other relevant information and I will respond shortly.
Mini session events can be booked directly through my website at the top right.
Do you shoot events?
The short answer is no. The complicated answer is maybe! I am always up for something new if we can work together. I am happy to do fresh 48 pictures, nursing pictures, boudoir photos and elopments. Baby showers, retirement parties and weddings however (aside from elopements), are not something I am currently booking.
Can I share my pictures on social media?
Absolutely! These are your images to share as you would like. Each package is priced to include printing rights and the rights to share your digital images. I do appreciate a photo credit and/or social media tag!
Do you offer payment plans?
While I do not offer payment plans at this time, I do try to keep my session prices affordable. Sessions can be booked with a non-refundable retainer fee with the remainder due 24 hours prior to your session.
Photography prices can be daunting and I try my best to keep my prices attainable with different packages so that you can get the photos of your dreams without the financial stress.
Do you do mini sessions?
Yes! I hold mini session events multiple times a season but they do go fast and existing clients get priority booking. They are 20 minute sessions in pre-determined locations depending on the season. These will be announced on my Instagram throughout the year so make sure you follow me there to hear the latest.
Do you offer any add ons?
Gallery upgrades are available for mini, petite and full sessions. For unlimited sessions, there is no need for add ons. You'll get all the very best of your session in your gallery.
Travel
Available to capture your memories in Connecticut and lower New England. Contact for a travel quote.
